Lailien To Release Fun, New Single "Holiday"

Prior to the Release of Lailien’s new album “Ensoular” he will be releasing several new singles, starting with the perfect summer jam “Holiday”.

Lailien is the alter-ego of Brad Shubat, a Toronto based musician who has created a unique sound all his own. Lailien makes what he calls ‘Eschatological Tunes’, in other words “music not for some looming cessation of time, but to reveal time’s openings in an already omnipresent and accessible end in itself”. This was created by using experimental pop, rock, and electronica alongside his riveting imagination. Being classically trained in piano since the age of 5 has informed his love and appreciation of music through the years. Lailien has truly released his imagination with his new, exploratory sound.

“Holiday” uses its catchy, bold beat to draw you into the entertaining lyrics and takes you on a ride you won’t forget. This single will quickly become one of the most replayed songs of the summer. This unique song is ideal for students enjoying their summer break and anyone who wants a feel good boost. It’s an uplifting, upbeat song universally accessible to anyone. “Holiday” is about celebrating life and making the most of good time opportunities with friends and family. Lailien says the song was created in order to challenge himself as an artist to make a song that both his mom and his friends could enjoy.

Before creating “Ensoular”, Lailien teamed up with Grammy award winner Mark Zubek who co-produced the album with him. The collaboration brought out  a desire to create a work of art that could change someone’s life for the better. Lailien’s music videos were conceptualized by Brad ‘Lailien’ Shubat and Zafir Ahmed, who also directed. Fellow artist Kellti was a featured performer vocally and in the music video for “Holiday”.
