Boulder Peak Capital acquires largest apartment and commercial property in Highland Village, Texas. Buyer plans major rebrand of largest mixed-use development in Highland Village.

Boulder Peak Capital acquired The District at Highland Village on April 1st and will implement a comprehensive overhaul of the property’s exterior façade, landscaping, and bring the interior components up to a new standard. The property was originally built in phases beginning in 2010 and completed in 2018.

“This was a great opportunity for us to grow the portfolio with a Class-AA property in one of the most affluent and desirable submarkets throughout DFW. The property is the largest apartment community in Highland Village and is the only mixed-use property offering residential living, office space, and retail within one walkable community. The developer did an outstanding job completing the project and we’re excited to bring some personality to the property with a fresh exterior look, new signage, and full rebranding. We will also spend a considerable amount of energy collaborating with the tenants in order to help bring traffic and awareness to our properties while supporting and creating a fun spot for the community.” Said Zack Montana, Managing Partner at Boulder Peak.

The District At Highland Village contains luxury 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments, two-story townhomes, and 70,000 square feet of commercial space. The property is located at the corner of FM 407 (Justin Rd.) and Briarhill Blvd, and feeds into top rated Heritage Elementary, Briarhill Middle School, and Marcus High School. “This is one of the nicest assets in the area and has a ton of onsite and local amenities that will only get better as we work to create a vibrant and thriving atmosphere.” According to Montana, “we have engaged one of the best landlord representative firms in the state, Shop Company, to bring in commercial tenants that fill the desired needs of the property, and we will work with City Gate Property Group to handle property management. City Gate is a current management partner of ours and they do an outstanding job of taking care of our residents and in working with the community to create a fun place people want to be.”

Boulder Peak will complete the exterior and signage improvements within the coming months and will host a major relaunch event this summer.
