Utah’s LifeLaw Personal Injury Firm is honored to announce its sponsorship of Deyvid Morales, a resident of Salt Lake City who previously worked with the firm and is now training for the skeleton competition in the 2026 Olympics. The firm’s leaders, including a former member of the US Cycling team, are passionate about athletics and committed to helping young athletes reach their goals.

“Every day, our Salt Lake City personal injury attorneys work with people who have been knocked down by unfortunate accidents but are committed to overcoming obstacles and getting the most out of life,” said David Francis, LifeLaw’s director of Claims who previously cycled alongside teammates like Lance Armstrong and Jonathan Vaughters as a member of Team USA. “When we see that same kind of resolve in young athletes, we want to be part of their journey.”

The members of the firm originally met Deyvid when they hired him as a social media marketer for LifeLaw. Though he currently lives and trains in Salt Lake City, he is working to join the national team in his native country of Mexico for the next Winter Olympics, which are scheduled for February 2026 in the cities of Milano and Cortina in Italy.

Skeleton racing is a feat of extreme strength and coordination that involves lying face-down, head-first on a sled while relying on subtle body movements to navigate a twisting, ice-covered track. It has been compared to a contact sport because the force and pressure of the experience are so brutal and exhausting.

“We have so much respect for this sport and the intense, daily work it takes to be the best of the best, ” said David. “We believe Deyvid has what it takes to make it all the way to the Olympics.”

David Francis is joined in the firm by other athletes, including fellow accident attorney Jared Inouye, who is a competitive runner, mountaineer, and skier. Inouye currently holds the record for ascending the Grand Teton on skis in the shortest amount of time.

LifeLaw regularly sponsors athletes and participates in athletic fundraising events. These include Pedal to Empower, which funds bikes for women and girls who live in rural areas and lack access to healthcare, jobs, and education.

LifeLaw’s attorneys help those who have been injured in cycling, pedestrian, and car accidents due to the negligence of others. They stand up to Big Insurance and help their clients get the medical care and financial compensation that they are entitled to under the law.
