LobiBox, a complete Visitor Entry System that enables tenants or employees of an organization to view and talk with visitors outside a door or entryway using the LobiBox mobile app, this week announced their highly anticipated technology is officially available for access.

Serving two applications that cover both residential and commercial requirements, the LobiBox enables all users to view a Visitor’s image before connecting with them via voice or video. Upon viewing the image, LobiBox Members can grant or deny access with just a single click.

“Whether it’s permitting individuals into a residential building or managing client and appointment meetings at a commercial location, we wanted to provide people everywhere with an added layer of security that protects them from unwanted visitors,” said Jeff Terrozas, Project Developer of LobiBox. “We’ve also embedded a RFID/NFC Card Reader into every LobiBox, so it can work on its own or within your existing access control system.”

For commercial purposes, the LobiBox will double as a virtual receptionist that enables employees to be contacted by visitors without having to go through a receptionist. This helps businesses cut down on the expenses of hiring reception help, as well as any confusions with rogue visitors.

For residential purposes, the LobiBox will enable tenants of multi-tenant residence structures, like apartment buildings, to see their visitors prior to granting access via the Virtual Doorman application. This will protect residents from permitting a stranger into the building without warning.

Notable features of the LobiBox include: video entry system, access control system, and a visitor scheduling tool, which texts codes to temporary Visitors so passes and guest cards don’t need to be handed out.

“The LobiBox is poised to not only save companies and building management entities a sizable amount of money, but also protect individuals from unwanted visitors and guests today. It’s a win-win for everyone involved,” said Terrozas.
