The Medical Academy of Pediatric and Special Needs Spring 2020 Functional Medicine Conference will be held between the 19th and 21st of March at the Hyatt Grand Cypress in the city of Orlando, Florida.

The three-day medical CME conference will be hosted by the Medical Academy of Pediatric and Special Needs (MAPS). Attendees will get the opportunity to earn up to 19 CME credits and will be able to participate in keynote lectures and panel discussions covering a wide range of topics.

The conference will focus on topics such as nutritional deficiency, Crohn’s, ulcerative colitis, eosinophilic esophagitis, autoimmunity, advanced clinical applications, advanced topics in probiotics, neurology, hormones practice, anesthesia in pediatrics, and environmental medicine. The role of homeopathy and essential oils in pediatrics, the causes of immune system dysregulation in the autistic brain, and the effects of neuroinflammation in pediatric patients are some of the other topics that will be covered.

These topics will be discussed through a series of panel discussions and keynote lectures over the three-day period. Renowned industry veterans and thought-leaders in the field of pediatric medicine will deliver the keynote addresses and moderate the panel discussions at the conference. A roundtable discussion will be conducted at the end of the day on March 19, 2020, in order to provide attendees with an opportunity to ask questions or clear up any doubts with the plenary speakers.
