Released in 2018, to international acclaim Matthew Browning’s debut album “Love & Grief” has seen radio charting success in the US and Europe.

With the audio for “Underneath the Willow Tree” released last year, the music video has been long awaited by fans. The video, created by Vidano Films, was filmed south of Las Vegas and perfectly depicts the somber lyrics of the song. Hailing from Colorado Springs, CO, Browning’s music video “Underneath the Willow Tree” details the overwhelming reality faced by refugees.

“The song takes a deep dive into the inherent suffering of the human condition,” said Browning. “But it doesn’t end there. I think that suffering is best seen through the lens of longing. Suffering is always a goodness lost, right? The video portrays a woman grieving over scattered images of refugees. We wanted the video to awaken a sense of this shared experience of displacement and loss, but then to also boldly make the statement, ‘Your suffering is seen.'”

“Love & Grief” was produced by Michael Rossback and recorded at Crystal Village Studios in Durango, Colorado. Vocals for the project were performed by Matthew Browning and Gina Milne. Taylor Johnson played guitar, Michael Rossback is on bass and McKenzie Smith is on the drums. Piano & keys by John Arndt. The project was mastered by Richard Dodd.

The music video will be available April 26th, 2019 on Matthew’s Youtube channel and website. For more information on Matthew Browning, you can visit his website and follow him on Facebook and Twitter. His album “Love & Grief” is on all major music platforms including iTunes.
