Midxnite Releases Poignant New Single "Emotionless"

Artist Details Significant Breakup in "Emotionless" Out Now

Yusuf Salim, known by his stage name Midxnite, has been rapidly making a name for himself in the entertainment world. His previous releases, “Live and Learn” and “Look at My Whip”, were put out on all streaming platforms and have accumulated hundreds of thousands of plays. Collectively, the two songs have gotten over 120,000 plays on Spotify as well.
Now, the Phoenix, Arizona based artist has released his first R&B song “Emotionless.” The song details a weighty break up at a point in his life when he thought marriage was right around the corner.
“This event was so important in my life that this is actually the first song I have done in the R&B genre, because I needed the sound to fit my own experiences like a glove,” says Midxnite.
“Emotionless” uses its introspective lyrics and mellow beat to wrap listeners in a therapeutic blanket of passion and loss. The song was recorded at HKStudios in Phoenix, AZ.
“Emotionless” is out now on all streaming platforms, including SoundCloud.
