Having a great cup of coffee at home shouldn’t mean that the environment has to take a hit in the process. No one believes this more than the forward-thinking, “green” conscious brand Naiko. In fact the company believes in this aspect of their business so much that they recently announced a big change to one of their most popular products, the Naiko Nitrogen Cold Brew Coffee Dispenser. After a full two years of hard work, Naiko’s engineers in Germany have replaced refrigerant R134a to the environmentaly friendly and sustainable refrigerant R290. The refrigerant is used in the built-in cooling system in the Naiko Dispenser used to cool down the Cold Brew Coffee to 2°C (35°F). With this change, Naiko has become the only company in the world to offer this environmentally friendly refrigerant R290 to their enthusiastic customers.

“We had a mission to create a product that works with not against Climate Action Plans, but would assist them,” commented a spokesperson from Naiko. “Plus, the best part is the coffee is just as amazng as ever. It is a true win-win – “green” performance and amazing coffee.”

Benjamin, head of F&B for a popular hotel line, recently said in a five-star review, “Another big and significant step from Naiko for our Nitro Dispenser,” commented which helps our company with hotels around the world to achieve our climate action plan becoming the most sustainable company in the hospitality industry.”
