New artist, 5ofclubs, drops his second single of the year, “Gotta Get Up.” This new single follows the release of his last hit single, “Put It Down.”
Inspiration for the song came from 5ofclubs’ personal journey through tough circumstances. He says, “Nothing was helping and the only thing we could do is keep getting up each day in hopes it will eventually pass.” The single’s message is to keep going and push forward when you’re struggling.
The dance track mirrors the inspiration for the song by starting off somber and gradually moving into a lighter, motivational sound. “Even if the past is repeating itself, it doesn’t mean that is the future,” 5ofclubs says. “I hope the song can be an inspiration for anyone who’s struggling with moving forward.” The sound of the song creates a unique connection for all, and it’s easy to see this song thriving in the EDM genre.
