New York, NY (PRUnderground) February 20th, 2019

Fine Art Shippers, a professional art logistics company from New York, is pleased to introduce the amazing artwork presented by the Los Angeles-based artist Brayden Bugazzi at the recent edition of the LA Art Show that was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on January 23-27. “Frida Rising” is a highly detailed collage art masterpiece that really takes the artist’s skills to a completely new level, demonstrating his incredible talent to the full.

Brayden Bugazzi is a contemporary artist known for creating colorful mixed media collages out of recycled magazines. His beautiful works have been exhibited at Art Marbella in the Costa del Sol in Spain, CONTEXT Art Fair in Miami, Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair, and many other fairs and shows throughout the world. In January 2019, Brayden Bugazzi also took part in the LA Art Show Modern + Contemporary, America’s most comprehensive international contemporary art show, where he had a large space with several different works up in. The highlight of the show was “Frida Rising,” an amazing mixed media collage dedicated to the life and artwork of Frida Kahlo.

“Frida Rising” is part of Brayden Bugazzi’s Pop Icons series of highly detailed art collages that pay tribute to celebrities who had or have a great influence on popular culture. This artwork is almost entirely made of recycled magazines and books about Frida Kahlo who is, without a doubt, one of the most famous and influential Mexican painters in history. “Frida Rising” is presented on an abstract painted background and decorated with flowers and jewelry pieces cut out of wood. It is not the first time that Brayden Bugazzi attaches woodworking to his collages; however, this time, the artist has expanded the technique by incorporating new wood cut elements into his works. The frame used for the “Frida Rising” collage deserves special attention. Brayden Bugazzi took his classic style frame with the tiles and gave it a unique custom feel by adding textured application and large grooved woodworking details painted with abstract paint to the corners.

Overall, “Frida Rising” by Brayden Bugazzi was a big success at the LA Art Show Modern + Contemporary that was held in Los Angeles last month. This fascinating mixed media collage caught the attention of both exhibitors and attendees of the show, attracting more interest to the artist’s work. At Fine Art Shippers, we hope to see more beautiful collages by Brayden Bugazzi in the near future, and we will continue to share the artist’s accomplishments with the world!
