Kaylene Peoples is a multi-award-winning composer, jazz vocalist, flutist, producer, director, and the founder of KL Publishing Group. A graduate of UCLA in Composition and Ethnomusicology, with a master’s in Film Scoring, she has received honors across multiple disciplines including music production, film direction, and publishing. As the editor-in-chief of five distinct magazines—AGENDA, JAZZ INFLUENCERS, VIRTUOSO BASS, SCHMOOZE JAZZ, and THE PERFORMING ARTIST—Peoples is known for creating platforms that amplify underrepresented voices in the arts, particularly women in jazz and the performing arts. Her music credits include collaborations with legendary artists such as Bunny Brunel, Hubert Laws, and Larry Dunn. Kaylene continues to influence the entertainment and publishing industries with visionary leadership, storytelling, and an unshakable commitment to artistic excellence.
