Nicolaas Walle: In The Moment from Dutch / Irish multi-instrumentalist Nicolaas Walle.

Half-Irish and Half-Dutch, Nicolaas Walle is a self-produced Multi-Instrumentalist living in Ireland. His self-titled debut album was released in 2018, immediately after his graduation from secondary school. He plays guitar, Bass (fretless and fretted) and some keyboards as well as singing and, to a lesser extent, the triangle and the egg shaker.

In 2019, he was awarded the judges prize for “Stepping Stones: Battle of the bands” in Greystones. He is also the guitarist in the band “Vvolla”, whose debut single, “Never Untrue” he produced, mixed and mastered. The name of that band arose from a phonetic spelling of his often-mispronounced surname.

Looking at his Vinyl Collection, it’s clear that his influences come from many genres, including jazz, blues and progressive rock, the latter being his favourite.
