North Carolina A&T State University Presents Alumni Achievement Award to Jerome Myers

Multifamily investment thought leader and financial advisor coach Jerome Myers will be honored by the College of Engineering during Fall Convocation at North Carolina A&T State University. Myers is the recipient of their distinguished Alumni Achievement Award.

A self-taught multifamily investor, Jerome Myers has overcome many challenges in pursuing his dreams. After graduating from North Carolina A&T State University, Myers had a successful, albeit short, career in corporate America, where he built a division of a Fortune 550 company from 0 to 20 million in revenue. In the years that followed, Myers poured his heart and soul into making his dreams his reality. His achievements in investing and coaching others make him an ideal candidate for the Alumni Achievement Award.
When he left his nine-to-five job to pursue his dreams as an apartment investor, Myers didn’t know all the hurdles he would face. He learned what it takes through his own challenges and developed his four-step process to own and manage apartments successfully. The Myers Methods is now an 11-week course available to individuals who want to learn the strategies that helped him build his own multi-million dollar portfolio. Through these classes, his podcasts, masterminds, financial advisor coaching, and speaking engagements, Myers freely shares his knowledge and experience with others to help them achieve goals they never thought possible.
“I have met a lot of people over the years whose biggest barrier to success is their own hesitation in taking that first step off the familiar path into the unknown,” said Myers. “It is extremely rewarding to help them challenge that way of thinking and begin their own journey, what we call taking the red pill, towards getting what they really want out of life.”
The Fall Convocation at North Carolina A&T State University will be October 27, 2022, from 10am-noon in the Harrison Auditorium. The ceremony is open to the general public as well as students and faculty. Jerome Myers will give the keynote address to an audience of about 600 people. During the ceremony, Myers will also receive the Alumni Achievement Award.
“I feel incredibly honored to receive the Alumni Achievement Award,” remarked Myers. “But, I am also incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to speak to the NC A&T State community. The students, just embarking on their life journey, have so many possibilities open to them. I hope I can help them see and have the courage to seize the opportunities before them.”
