Organic Non-GMO Seed Paper Photo Frame Cards Released By Planted Thoughts®
Planted Thoughts® has released new organic herbal seed paper photo frame cards in packages of six on their website as DIY kits for Valentine's Day.
Santa Fe, NM (PRUnderground) February 1st, 2016
Plantable seed paper has been on the market for decades, and now Planted Thoughts® has upped the ante with new organic, non-GMO herbal seed paper greetings that adhere to sustainable practices each step of the supply chain and take a new twist on the greeting card industry. In addition to incorporating heirloom seeds from small U.S. suppliers, the plantable cards hold standard 4”x6” photos, which lets the sender tell their own story in a much more personal way.
Organic basil, chives and winter thyme herb seeds are embedded in the paper, made of recycled pulp at an American paper manufacturer who crafts the seed paper in small, handmade batches. Diecut cards hold standard-size photos, and are packaged with 100 percent post-consumer waste recycled envelopes, printed with vegetable ink and finished off with plant adhesive. Planting instructions are included on a hemp paper insert, which doubles as a notecard to the recipient. Nothing is printed on the seed paper—a practice that allows the seeds to germinate easily and sprout the organic herbs contained inside.
Planted Thoughts® has released the seed paper photo frame cards in packages of six on their website (www.plantedthoughts.com) as DIY kits. The cards are truly customizable and can be used for any occasion. For Valentine’s Day, the packages will ship with red recycled envelopes.
Individual cards are available through select retailers. Wholesale inquiries should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
