With Covid-19 Still A Threat, Improv Comedy Provides Levity and Skill Development

New York, NY (PRUnderground) June 24th, 2020

The People’s Improv Theater (PIT) moves its 20 years worth of corporate team building experience to the digital space, bonding and developing skills remotely through improvisational comedy. Experienced instructors lead teams through a fun-fueled 60 minute session that’s supportive and creative for a low fee of $25 per person.

Sessions are led on Zoom and groups of 3 – 50 can be accommodated. Each participant engages in clearly explained exercises from the comfort of their own computers to create a one-of-a-kind experience that encourages team-members to take supported risks in an environment of positivity. Groups of 10 or less will have one instructor and larger teams meet in separate breakout rooms each with their own instructor to optimize participation and collaboration over the course of the hour.

In mid-March, The PIT transferred all shows, classes and workshops to digital offerings. Since then the company has provided experiences for clients including LinkedIn, The Dow Jones, Novo Nordisk, Shutterstock, Hilton Worldwide and more. The PIT’s corporate department  also offers customized comedy shows for companies and birthday parties for kids and adults.

For more information or to book a digital improv workshop for your team, contact Mac Gostow, Director of Business Partnerships at The PIT at corporate@thepit-nyc.com. More information on workshops, structures and fees can be found at thepit-nyc.com/events/digital-team-building.
