Viral Phenomenon Joins Forces with Entertainer Yoo Jae Suk

“Baby Shark” is back with a brand-new twist inspired by trot, a 100-year-old retro style of K-pop music well known for its repetitive rhythms and vocal inflections. For this video, Pinkfong has collaborated with the “yellow suit guy” from PSY’s “Gangnam Style” video, Yoo Jae Suk (also known as Yoo San Seul). The video is available on Pinkfong’s YouTube channel and quickly achieved over 880,000 views from its release date of December 31st to January 6th.

They’ve already teamed up with US DJ and producer Jauz to release a “Baby Shark” EDM remix last May, Pinkfong has also collaborated with BT21 to create a “Baby Shark x BT21” video which achieved 6 million views in just two weeks.  

The new “Baby Shark” video, better known as “Baby Shark Dance (K-pop Retro English Version)” is out now on Pinkfong’s YouTube channel.

Pinkfong’s flagship video series, the original “Baby Shark” has become one of the biggest viral explosions in children’s digital media history, with 4.2 billion YouTube views and a 17-week streak on Billboard’s Hot 100 as Top 50 since January 2019.
