The Free-Admission, Grand Opening Event Will Give Area Climbing-Enthusiasts a Chance to Explore the 30,000 Square-Foot Facility and its Variety of Bouldering, Yoga and Fitness Classes

El Cap, one of the largest operators of indoor climbing facilities in the U.S., announced today that Saturday, December 14th will be the grand opening party for its new Planet Granite Fountain Valley location. This new facility features custom-designed bouldering terrain, strength and cardio fitness zones, a yoga studio and a training area complete with systems boards and hydraulic campus boards. In addition, Planet Granite features original artwork by local artist, Max Mcilwee (@art_qbik).
To celebrate the grand opening, and introduce the climbing facility to area residents, Planet Granite Fountain Valley is hosting a free access event on December 14, from 11am to 5pm PST, complete with introductory climbing classes, yoga and fitness demos, vendor showcases, games, food, raffles, and more!
Planet Granite Fountain Valley will have multiple features which help foster community within the facility. Along with communal areas for people to use as social lounges and workspaces, the gym will also host a full lineup of adult and youth climbing classes, and a fully-stocked gear shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Like its sister facilities, Planet Granite will cater to participants of all abilities – from competitive athletes to weekend adventurers and families.

The Planet Granite gym is located at 18030 New Hope Street which offers guests convenient access to the 405 and is an ideal location for climbing enthusiasts in Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, and Newport Beach.
