30,000 Sq. Ft. Facility Will Serve the Area’s Growing Indoor Climbing Community and Offer Olympic Lifting Area, Yoga and Fitness Classes

Orange County residents in the Fountain Valley/Huntington Beach area will soon have access to a brand new, state-of-the-art bouldering facility. The Planet Granite gym will be located at 18030 New Hope Street and is scheduled to open Fall 2019.
This new facility will feature custom-designed bouldering terrain, strength and cardio fitness zones, a yoga studio and a training area complete with systems boards and hydraulic campus boards. Planet Granite will have multiple features which help foster community within the facility. Along with communal areas for people to use as social lounges and work spaces, the gym will also host a full lineup of adult and youth climbing classes, and a fully-stocked gear shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Like its sister facilities, Planet Granite will cater to participants of all abilities – from competitive athletes to weekend adventurers and families.
Orange County native, Do Nguyen, is taking the helm of Planet Granite Fountain Valley. “I was born and raised in Orange County and this is where I fell in love with climbing. I’m eager to share that passion with all of our neighbors,” says Do, director of Planet Granite Fountain Valley. “My first goal is to build an amazing, community-driven team. Over the next couple months, we’ll be hiring for the front desk as well as climbing, fitness, and yoga instructors. Come join us!”
Located in the heart of Orange County, Planet Granite Fountain Valley offers guests convenient access to the 405 and is an ideal location for climbing enthusiasts in Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, and Newport Beach.
