Fine Art Shippers is pleased to offer a complete range of art logistics services at this year’s edition of the Venice Biennale. Our company will provide exhibitors and visitors with professional art handling, art transportation, art packing, art installation, and other related services throughout the 58th International Art Exhibition that will start in Venice, Italy on May 11 and last until November 24. Whatever your needs, Fine Art Shippers will make sure that your art pieces are handled with care and attention they deserve!

The Venice Biennale, or as it is also called the Art Biennale, is the world’s most prestigious Biennale exhibition that is entirely dedicated to contemporary visual art. Moreover, the Venice Biennale is the very first Biennale, on which other biennial exhibitions have been modeled. The 2019 edition of this important international art exhibition is titled “May You Live In Interesting Times” and curated by the director of London’s Hayward Gallery, Ralph Rugoff.

At Fine Art Shippers, we are happy and excited to be part of the Venice Biennale 2019, shipping fine art for some of the most talented artists who have been selected to represent their countries at the upcoming exhibition. In particular, our art logistics company has been entrusted to transport artworks by Billy Gerard Frank who will represent Grenada along with three other artists at the official National Pavilion of Grenada.

Billy Gerard Frank is a New York-based artist and filmmaker born in Grenada. He is largely known for his video installations and narrative short films exploring the themes of family, sexuality, migration, diaspora, and civil disobedience. Frank’s works have been shown in various international film festivals and are currently held in the permanent collections of the National Academy of Design in New York, MoMA PS1, and several other reputable art institutions. At the Venice Biennale 2019, Billy Gerard Frank will introduce his new film installation titled “2nd Eulogy: Mind The Gap,” which is based on the memories of the artist’s father and his own experience of living in Grenada as a teenager. The installation will be accompanied by collage artworks, all addressing the theme of “Epic Memory.”

It is an honor for Fine Art Shippers to have been chosen to ship works by Billy Gerard Frank to the upcoming Venice Biennale. Our team has experience and resources to ensure that all of his amazing art pieces travel securely and arrive safely. We love to help talented artists and dedicated collectors ship fine art to/from international exhibitions, and we are ready to handle any artwork shipping task. Whatever art logistics assistance at the Venice Biennale you need, you can rely on Fine Art Shippers!
