“Usually, RV roofs are exposed to more dirt, dust, bird droppings, mud, and more, so cleaning it properly becomes one of the must do-tasks,” say the experts. But the removal is a little bit difficult and that requires more than just detergent and water.

Though pressure washing can be really effective in removing the grime, it is imperative to make sure you apply low pressure, as high pressure can damage the chrome, rubber, and plastic parts of the RV.

Keeping the pressure between 1000 psi to 1500 psi will be suitable and appropriate for the safe removal of dirt and other kinds of stuff.

After a gentle blast, now spray some rubber roof cleaner and give it a gentle scrub with a soft-bristled brush. Most importantly, it is important not to use any abrasive cleaners!

Finally, rinse it off thoroughly with water and let it air dry it in direct sunlight.

When it is completely dried, to add some extra layer of protection, spray UV Protectant Roof Guard on the top. This will extend the life of the roof, protecting it from weather extremes.

A thumb rule is that you should consider giving a monthly or regular cleaning to keep the roof clean and long-lasting – explains the expert.
