Pry.Me Launches World’s Smallest Bottle Opener on Kickstarter

The team at Pry.Me is thrilled to have launched the world’s smallest bottle opener on Kickstarter, and the crowdfunding campaign has already generated more than the initial goal.

While it’s as small as a penny, the Pry.Me is made of titanium, and it’s extremely strong. A video on the Pry.Me Kickstarter page demonstrates how the bottle opener can be used to pull a car across a parking lot.

Leveraging Grade 5 Titanium and physics, Pry.Me defeats the previous world record for world’s smallest bottle opener – a quarter sized contraption. Pry.Me is the diameter of a penny and the thickness of two pennies, but it’s 145 percent lighter than a penny at just 0.5 grams.

Pry.Me will be available in various colors once it begins to ship in August 2016.

According to the Pry.Me team, they’ve received positive feedback from hikers, runners, and people who like carrying everyday items because the bottle opener is small and easy to carry. In addition, beer enthusiasts enjoy that the Pry.Me doesn’t dent the top of their beer caps.

Pry.Me launched their Kickstarter campaign with a goal of raising $3200, and funders have already exceeded that benchmark. Pledgers will be receiving exclusive perks according to the amount of their contributions, including their very own Pry.Me in a variety of finishes.
