Industry: Travel & Leisure

In an Exclusive Tell-All Interview with NautiStyles, Dustin Reynolds Provides a Behind the Scenes Look Into His Solo Trip Around the World

Los Angeles, CA (PRUnderground) August 24th, 2021

Throughout history, many brave individuals have battled rough seas and unpredictable conditions to sail around the world, visiting various countries, climates, and cultures. Few have opted to take on the challenge single-handedly, but only one is taking on single-handed sailing both figuratively and literally. Dustin Reynolds will soon become the first double amputee to sail around the world to circumnavigate the globe. In an exclusive tell-all interview with NautiStyles, Dustin Reynolds provides a behind-the-scenes look into how he has traveled over 35K miles, completed 5 equator crossings, and visited 34 countries as a single-handed double amputee sailor.

Available on NautiStyles YouTube, Dustin’s nearly hour-long interview provides an unparalleled tale of bravery, perseverance, strength, and valor as he recounts the incident that changed his world, the struggles of life at sea, daring encounters with pirates, and success against all odds.

In 2008, Dustin was struck by a drunk driver in Hawaii and left for dead. Following countless surgeries and months full of uncertainty in the hospital, Dustin slowly began to adapt to life as a double amputee. After being forced to file bankruptcy, Dustin sold his remaining assets to buy his first boat for $12,000 without any sailing knowledge or experience whatsoever. Soon after, Dustin would take a month-long trip around Hawaii with one buddy before embarking on the journey that would change his life forever.

Currently en route to Polynesia Dustin is estimated to return to Hawaii, completing his journey in December 2021. Over 34 countries, well over 35K miles, countless stories, and intense adversity, Dustin’s cheerful and optimistic outlook on life is inspirational, touching the hearts of viewers around the world.

“Every day I choose to live in connection with the earth, the ocean, and the inhabitants who live on her. I’m here to share my journey with you in the hopes it may inspire you to live in alignment with your passion too.” – Dustin Reynolds

Through proof of concept, dedication to living life to the fullest, and unwavering commitment to defying the odds; Dustin’s purpose-driven vision will come to fruition as he soon becomes the first man to sail around the world as a double amputee.

Dustin is currently writing a book about his journey, the struggles, and the hurdles, mental strength, simple living, his must-go remote places on Earth, persistence in the face of peril, which he hopes to get published upon his return to Hawaii.
