Registration is Open for the 2022 Extrusion Conference

Gardner Business Media and Plastics Technology Magazine announced today that registration is officially open for the 2022 Extrusion Conference. The conference, an education-focused, two-and-a-half-day event will feature sessions from industry leaders, tabletop exhibits and networking opportunities. The conference will take place on December 6-8, 2022 at the Omni Charlotte Hotel in Charlotte, NC.

“Extrusion processors are concerned with best practices and how to manage their existing assets more effectively. Yet the extrusion processes themselves are quite different. From the start, our program has included general sessions designed to apply to all extrusion processors—regardless of what comes out of their dies—combined with more specific breakout sessions that drill down to particular extrusion processes. We think this format has served the attendees well, and we are happy to return to Charlotte—where our conference was born in 2015—during a time when people are more comfortable to be out and about,” said Plastics Technology’s Editorial Director Jim Callari.

Also coming to this year’s Extrusion Conference is a chance for those interested in compounding to learn from experts in the field. Limited to 30 attendees, Extrusion 2022 and The Polymers Center will offer a pre-conference workshop titled, Best Practices in Twin-Screw Compounding. This extra event will cost $100, which includes transportation to and from the workshop and the Omni Charlotte Hotel.

A full lineup of education sessions will be available in the Extrusion Conference Registration Brochure, which will be sent along with the October issue of Plastics Technology Magazine, as well as posted on the event’s website, ExtrusionConference.com in August.
