Rekt Games Announce Their Latest Online Party Brawler Game ‘Fightworld’

Rekt Games – a platform-based game development studio in Sweden, which draws upon the Swedish tradition of innovation and fun, has today announced that their latest online party brawler game is coming to Early Access. Called ‘Fightworld‘, the game is a free-to-play online party brawler with unique motion-based weapon controls and wacky physics. The game, which is aimed at capturing users aged 14 years and above, will be available first on PC with future goals of Switch, Xbox and Playstation.

‘Fightworld’ is played using unique motion-based twin-stick controls that allow players to compete with their teammates in a 3v3 online party experience, through various game modes. Encouraging players to stay sharp, focused and fully immersed, the gamers get to explore and master four different weapons motions, customize their character and fight with friends in different environments, using various game modes, ranging from classic death match to football. The game allows the player to even customize his very own fighter, much like a Lego figure, and create the combatant of his dreams or nightmares!

‘Fightworld’ started with the simple idea of taking the experience of playing a party game with friends on the couch to the online world. Announcing the Early Access release of ‘Fightworld’, powered by its unique motion-based controls, the developers now hope to create a bounty of new party-like game modes with the help of the community. Calling all enthusiasts, the developers at Rekt Games said, “We believe, we have created a unique and fun brawler but we are lacking the feedback from players to take the next steps. By releasing it into the community through Early Access we hope we can glean better insights and collect feedback from our niche audience to create a killer brawler.”

Rekt Games have opened their Discord Server, a communication platform for gamers and developers, to invite the community to be a part of the game development process and receive in-game rewards through participation. “We want to make sure that we have a close relationship with the players and Discord has proven to be the best place to build a community. We hope that our Fightworld Discord Server will function as an open door to our studio and that through it, players will be able to be a part of the process of molding the game to something greater,” according to Rekt Games.
