Rich Castaldo Launches Coronavirus Resource Website “mycovidhelper.com” to Facilitate Connection in NY/NJ Metro Area

Rich Castaldo, a New York City and New Jersey businessman and entrepreneur, today announced the formation of a coronavirus resource website: mycovidhelper.com.

My COVID Helper is a platform where those in need of critical resources, such as protective equipment, volunteers, or food for staff, can connect with providers willing to donate, volunteer, or offer their services. The website was created to help the NY and NJ Metro area through the upcoming apex of the coronavirus pandemic.

Within mycovidhelper.com, users can create an account, select a category such as testing site or supplies needed, and create a post with a description that includes an address and contact information. The site pulls from the latest public information resources while consolidating it, saving time scouring the internet for testing sites and other needed resources.

“Our nation and our American cities are facing a once-in-a-lifetime dangerous and aggressive threat from the ‘Silent Enemy.’ I wanted to create a way for people to connect with others so they can provide support and resources during this trying time. The volunteerism and willingness of those to help has inspired me to get further involved. Our frontline responders, our elderly, our neighbors and businesses, and the most vulnerable need our help.  Mycovidhelper.com gives them a way to get that help directly from the community while giving those looking to help a way to connect,” stated Castaldo. “We’re all in this together.
