Scott Petinga Wins Most-Disruptive CEO Category in 4th Annual Global CEO Excellence Awards

CEO Monthly, a UK publication read by 60,000 CEOs globally, announced today that Scott Petinga, CEO and Chief Troublemaker of the Minneapolis-based Scott Petinga Group, has been selected winner of their Most-Disruptive CEO award category of their CEO Excellence Awards. Petinga is a renowned socialpreneur, whose new wave of unique start-ups are charged with making a lasting, positive impact on society as an integral part of their business models.

“I believe today’s enterprises need to create value for society as well as their shareholders,” said Scott Petinga, who has founded over 14 companies and non-profits over the last decade. “What we’re doing at the Petinga Group is flipping business-as-usual thinking on its head and imposing an entirely new set of values that grow companies and benefit the world.”

Now in its fourth year, the Global CEO Excellence Awards recognizes the outstanding achievements made by leading CEOs from across the world. Award winners, like Petinga, are CEOs responsible for driving big changes while at the same time successfully managing the day-to-day operations within an organization.

Aside from start-ups in fashion, including Charles Vane, Pariah Underwear and wynrr, Petinga is probably best known for his work for men’s health issues.  A testicular cancer survivor, Petinga recently donated $500,000 to the University of Minnesota for men’s cancer survivorship research through his “TH!NK DIFFERENT Foundation”.
