Chris Fabregas has a side hustle photography business. His photo of downtown Seattle right after the Sounders FC won the 2019 MLS Cup has caught the eyes of Sounder players, radio Dj’s, devoted fans, sports celebrities and it’s going viral.

It takes a very special talent to be able to capture the incredible energy of a once-in-a-lifetime sporting event, especially one as iconic and surrounded by passion as the 2019 MLS Cup Championship. Chris Fabregas, a photographer based in Bellevue Washington, stepped up to answer the call in a quite remarkable way for the 2019 MLS Championship at CenturyLink Field pitting the local favorite Seattle Sounders against Toronto FC, in a hard fought and historic competition. Fabregas’ photograph presents a mesmerizing view of CenturyLinkField and downtown Seattle. Stitching all 18 photographs together, he has created a fine art panoramic print to make perfect holiday gifts for Sounders fans and sports collectors, that is sure to never be forgotten.
This extraordinary work just happens to be Fabregas’ side hustle. He works full time in construction however his true passion is photography. He’s often found late into the night creating and editing pictures to sell online. This particular photograph taken right after the Sounders won the MLS Cup is going viral and has caught the eyes of Sounders players, radio Dj’s, devoted fans, and sports celebrities.
Sounders midfielder and USA National team member Cristian Roldan, recently posted a picture of himself with the print saying, “Christmas came early… this brings back some amazing memories.” Sounder teammate, Justin Dhillon, said “If you’re a Sounders fan make sure to check out Chris’ page and get yours before they’re gone.” Comments from these celebrities gave sales a huge boost and Fabregas had to hire extra help to fill non-stop orders. As of now, social media posts containing the image have surpassed 50 thousand likes, a number that is climbing everyday!
“This was an opportunity I couldn’t let go by,” commented Fabregas. “I made my way to the best spot I could find on Beacon Hill, and even from there – a mile away – you could feel the excitement generated by the record breaking win.”
