Puget Sound area accounting firm Shannon & Associates has been named one of the 2020 Best Accounting Firms to Work For by Accounting Today and Best Companies Group. Shannon & Associates was listed as the 26th Best Small Firm to Work For.

This annual survey and awards program identifies, recognizes, and honors the best employers in the accounting profession across the country. There are approximately 138,000 accounting firms in the U.S.

Selection as a best firm is determined using a two-part survey process, and the combined scores decide the top companies and their final ranking.

Workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics for each company account for 25% of the evaluation. Employee experience surveys make up 75% of the assessment.
