In January 2021, Showplace Luxury Art Design Vintage will conduct two live estate auctions. The first estate auction will be held on January 3. It will offer items from the Estate of the renowned American film producer Martin Bregman, including furniture, paintings, and decorative arts from his Park Avenue apartment decorated by Sister Parish and Albert Hadley. The upcoming auction will also feature a variety of complimentary objects from NYC and metropolitan area estates. Among the highlights are a 1982 18k yellow gold Rolex luxury watch, an antique French figural garniture set by Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, a pair of George III Chinese Chippendale style mirrors, Charles Towne’s equestrian portrait, and a still life by Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer.

The next auction scheduled for January 17 will feature items from New York City estates. These include Angel Botello’s bronze sculpture “Coup de Vent II,” Pablo Picasso’s pottery vase “Face and Owl,” Salvador Dali’s lithographs “The Twelve Signs of the Zodiac,” Henri Matisse’s lino print “Florentine,” and Joan Miro’s etching “Plate VIII (from Espriu-Miró),” among others.

Both estate auctions conducted by Showplace Luxury Art Design Vintage in January offer collectors a perfect opportunity to buy antiques, fine & decorative art, and other collectibles that are fresh to the market. Previews are accessible for the 14 days preceding each auction at the design center in Manhattan.
