Being confined to a wheelchair can be one of life’s great challenges. Conscious and activist Hi-Hop Group 4 Wheel City understand this well, with both MC’s in the duo needing to use wheelchairs to get around after suffering gunshot wounds. The inspirational artists will be speaking on Match 11th, 2019 in Austin, Texas at the South by Southwest Conference (SXSW). Excitement surrounding their appearance, the topics they will be addressing and their music is high all around.

“Speaking at the SXSW Conference is going to be an honor and dream come true,” commented Namel “Tap Waterz” Norris. “Can’t wait to spread the message of inclusion & non-violence on the Social & Global Impact platform.”

Norris’s partner in the hip-hop duo is the also extremely talented Ricardo “Rickfire” Velasquez. Their mission, through their beloved hip-hop music and culture, is to show the disabled that opportunities and possibilities are still open for them to express themselves, create art, and live a fulfilling life.

4 Wheel City certainly possess not just passion but true street credibility when delivering their message, something that has helped them become more in-demand as speakers all the time. When not educating about gun violence, they are sure to be found behind the mic, showcasing their decade spent together as performers, both with remarkable lyrical skills and flow.

With the recent rash of school shootings the 4 Wheel City message is surely more needed than ever and the group is primed to deliver.
