Sounds & Sirens Kicks Off Summer 2019 with Events Across the Bronx

Since its launch in 2016, Sounds & Sirens has pumped up crowds all over the Bronx, and their team of innovative DJs and producers are continuing their legacy well into 2019 with a summer schedule that’s already kicked off.
On Sunday May 19, 2019, Sounds & Sirens sponsored the entertainment for the Throggs Neck Volunteer Ambulance Corps. 40th Anniversary Gala. This public event was held to raise funds and awareness for the TNVAC. Attendees enjoyed dinner, drinks, and dancing, and proceeds went to help a cause within the community.
That was the first of several events planned for summer 2019. Sounds & Sirens is also planning to host the one year anniversary of their popular monthly music showcase, “The Legendary Show”, on Saturday May 25, 2019. This event has been hosted every month since its launch last year at The Legendary Bar in the Bronx. Local artists and musicians across genres are showcased. Guests get to enjoy a party spanning two rooms with plenty of music, lights, and dancing. While they party, guests can enjoy The Legendary Bar’s unique menu of cocktails and food. This open format showcase features rappers, DJs, singers, and everything in between, making it the only of its kind in the Bronx.
On Saturday June 1, 2019, Sounds & Sirens will host their very first outdoor music showcase called “Acoustics Under the Stars” at McDermott Pub in the Neck. DJ Mike of Sounds & Sirens will co-cost, and comedian Ian Russo will also be on deck to co-host the event, which will feature a stand up set and acoustic performances by ViDe0, Francesca Savoy LaMantia, Bryan Keith, Jalani Medina, KnobaD, Duriex, The Drew Torres Trio, and more.
According to Sounds & Sirens, they will be announcing even more summer events soon.
Mike Nickerson, also known as DJ Mike, producer at Sounds & Sirens, has taken the New York music scene by storm since 2007, and he recently announced his alter ego and project Man In Black, which focuses on electronic dance music. Sounds & Sirens has been the music behind events varying from small local establishments to venues across New York City. Sounds & Sirens offers one of the most robust DJ and entertainment services found in the area.
An in-house studio allows Sounds & Sirens to produce original own music (both audio and video), which can be found on SoundCloud and YouTube. Most recently, Man In Black and vocalist Jacqlyn Andrea announced their debut track, “Slow It Down”, a song that inspires people to enjoy the little things in life.
DJ Mike/Man In Black and Sounds & Sirens proudly team up with various vocalists and are thrilled to forge new musical partnerships this year and beyond.
