Houston, TX (PRUnderground) September 14th, 2020

With music that encapsulates the native heritage of Houston and Louisiana, Bigg Bern is a talented artist who incorporates the culture and hospitality of the places he grew up in. Bigg Bern has been surrounded by music for as long as he can remember, whether it was his mother who sang to him while holding him in her arms, or listening to great artists while growing up. His music is not what today’s artists project it to be- loud, obscene, or about objectifying women. Rather, he believes in making feel-good music that is positive, and ardent.

After honing his craft for years, Bigg Bern has finally dropped his debut EP titled “Long Time Coming”. This EP is a great collection of 7 astounding tracks, including the title track, “D.K.O”, “Elev8”, “Pressure”, “Smile 4 Me”, “The Tale”, and “Workin”.

Telling about his latest project, Bern says, “It has gotten rave reviews by the people who have tuned in. It’s an album that you can play and feel good about.”

“Long Time Coming” is the kind of album which suits all the occasions perfectly, whether it is a long drive with your friends, a house party, or even clubbing scenes. You can just sit back and relax while listening to every track on this album, or you can dance to the mellifluous tune of it.

When asked about his music style, Bern answered, “My style/genre is KLTV8D! Kltv8d means organically seeding, growing, and nurturing your music. Everything is authentic and from the heart with purpose. It is Southern, Musical, Real, KLTV8D. If I had to give a style or genre it would be Southern Hip-Hop/ Soul Rap.”

Even though Bern loves all forms of music, the two artists who cast the biggest influence on Bigg Bern’s rap career are Fat Pat and DJ Screw. Bern is a multi-instrumentalist who plays instruments like bass guitar, drums, tum, cello, and piano, along with many others. His musical journey has been filled with thrill and excitement. “I have spent 7 years in a gospel quartet and traveled around cities to perform. As I became an older teenager, I got introduced to DJ Screw and the rest is history! Brad Jordan aka Scarface had an incredible impact on me as well”, he says.

Bern is a hard-working and dedicated artist who believes in giving his hundred percent in every project. His commitment and passion for music are helping him pave his way rapidly through the music industry. Over the years, Bern has built a strong and steady fan base that supports him throughout his musical voyage.

He urges his fans to stay tuned as many more interesting projects are on its way.
