Mohammadi To Help Find Innovative Ways Through Emerging Financial Technologies To Help Underserved.

Silicon Valley & Southern California (PRUnderground) January 5th, 2021

The 2020s have shown to be a struggle thus far for many, and 2021 and beyond could unfortunately be heading that way too. While emerging markets grow, many are still left behind in foundational investments, fighting and fending for food on the table. There’s need for an emerging intersection between the non-profit realm with tech and finance now more than ever.

That’s where Shaian Mohammadi comes in. Mohammadi, an entrepreneur, award-winning law graduate from the California Western School of Law, writer, and former Obama Administration Appointee has some ideas on how to fix this.

As founder of SafeShield and with his current work in the legal and financial industries, and as a former paralegal who worked on high-profile federal immigration cases in suit with the U.S. Secretary of State and Department of Justice – Shaian Mohammadi is using his time on finding innovative ways through emerging financial technologies such as ETFs and digital crowdfunding to help bring in more minorities, middle-class families, and those who are fighting to survive to secure their futures. His time in Palo Alto working on a Certificate in Political Psychology at Stanford University’s Institute in Political Psychology allowed him the ability to network and focus on new ways that technology and new currencies can help bring in underserved people to secure their financial and legal positions in society.

As a first-generation, middle-class American, Mohammadi saw the struggles his immigrant parents went through to provide for their family and futures. Struggles he wants to avoid others from having to go through. Technologies today provide the ability to use innovative crowdsourcing platforms to provide safety nets when government is gridlocked.

Mohammadi aims to use his time spent working in tech and business organizing, as well as with the Community Law Project and his pro bono work during law school that led him to win the Justice Wiley W. Manuel Pro Bono Award with the State Bar of California in 2017, to build upon non-profit type ventures through emerging financial tools and public-private partnerships.

Currently residing in Silicon Valley & Southern California, Shaian Mohammadi plans to launch his own network to serve these groups in the future after being inspired by what he saw during his work in the community as a young adult. Contact: (415) 937-0605 // safexshield@gmail.com
