Starks Consulting Firm is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Women Leaders Dominate Professions Panel Discussion, which will feature a panel of local women leaders in male dominated professions.
During this event, guests will hear women leaders include Dr. Robin Starks, Lynda Roberts, Captain Viola Judon, Pastor Stephanie Russell, and Chief Harvette Smith discuss how they’ve reached success in male dominated industries.
Fewer than approximately 25% of professionals in industries including information technology (IT), firefighting, clergyship, aircraft piloting, and agriculture are women. Statistics show that there are only five industries with more than 50% of women workers, with running private households, education and health services, finance activities, and leisure and hospitality being among them.
Dr. Robin Starks, founder of Starks Consulting Firm, aims to flip the script and show how local women are breaking barriers in their industries. The 2nd Annual Women Leaders Dominate Professions Panel Discussion will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the Miami Lakes Hotel and Golf Club (6842 Main Street, Miami Lakes, FL 33014). Doors will open at 2pm, and the panel discussion will begin at 3pm. A buffet dinner will be served at 4:30pm, and guests are invited to network until 7pm.
