Stewart Dawson’s vintage design elegance continues with the unique aesthetic automatic wrist chronometer inspired by the historic pocket watch.
The goal of these designs was to capture the “iconic heritage look of mid-century military timepieces” with the unique aesthetic automatic wrist chronometer inspired by the historic pocket watch.
This timepiece maintains the original concept of a hinged dust cover, that discreetly protects the message selected by the customer engraved on the underside of the stainless steel case-back creating a personal and unique accessory. As time goes by, the inscription will always be discreetly close to the customer or the person they’ve gifted the watch to.

Developed with the invention of the spring mechanism in the fifteenth century, the first creator Julien Coudray was credited with a hinged cover that protects the bottom of the watch. This model provided a way of keeping time before the invention of the wristwatch in the second half of the nineteenth century.
