TeachAde.com, an award-winning online community and resource center for educators, joined thousands of educators from across the country at the 2011 National Education Association Annual Meeting in Chicago, Illinois.

TeachAde.com, an award-winning online community and resource center for educators, joined thousands of educators from across the country at the 2011 National Education Association Annual Meeting this summer in Chicago, Illinois. During the event, representatives of TeachAde.com shared information about their ground-breaking online community and their efforts supporting educators alongside partners including NEA Member Benefits, Disney’s Planet Green Challenge and Adopt-A-Classroom.
TeachAde’s booth at the NEA Expo awarded three iPads to NEA members Rhonda Johnson, Jeri Mayo and Jerrod Newell during the event as well as helped thousands more register to be a part of the first, fastest-growing, free social networking website designed just for educators. Members of TeachAde.com receive regular e-bulletins with current events, fundraising options, community news, classroom resources and more.
Along with TeachAde.com’s online resources, members are also able to register for Adopt-A-Classroom, an organization that provides an easy and effective way for parents, friends, family, contacts, local businesses and social network friends to make direct donations to classroom teachers. Teachers register and are able to use easy outreach tools to spread the word.
