The BS Game Company Announces Launch Of Billionaires Money Board Game

The BS Game Company is announcing the launch of its Billionaires Money board game, and running a Kickstarter campaign starting October 26 (www.kickstarter.com/projects/billionaires/billionairesmoney), with the goal to raise $50,000 for operations, manufacturing, marketing, US and global distribution, and to bring the price down.

The Kickstarter campaign will run through November 15. The Billionaires Money purchase price is discounted 25% to 37% when pre-ordered from the Kickstarter page.

Creator Owen Daniels describes Billionaires Money as a simple, fun board game that gives players the chance to become a billionaire. “It’s a game of chance and strategy,” he says, “Players navigate the board, try to avoid the obstacles that will cause them to lose money, and at the same time build wealth by landing on the right slots.” Whoever is the first to reach $1 billion wins.

Billionaires Money is already receiving favorable reviews, and was featured in an unboxing video on the Bower’s Game Corner YouTube channel.

Daniels adds that the idea for Billionaires Money is a compilation of several concepts he integrated to develop this game. “It uses familiar themes of wealth redistribution, tax the rich, and income equality, and you didn’t build that,” he says.

Billionaires Money is for 2-10 players ages 14 and up. The Monopoly-esque board features locations like “Donation,” “Robbery,” and “Tax Exempt,” offers paper money in 6 denominations up to $1 billion, and four sets of cards with different instructions. “Tax The Rich” cards direct players to pay certain amounts in income taxes, death taxes, or other taxes. “Property,” cards award players with items like a yacht, island, helicopter, luxury car, or fine art. “Business,” cards equip players with revenue-generating operations such as a global coffee chain, burger franchise, or beauty supplies store. And “Donation” cards direct players to donate a specified amount to a social cause such as climate change.

Daniels says Billionaires Money is a game that will bring family and friends together during today’s heated times, when COVID-19, the economy, politics, and social unrest are all dominating the news. “I developed this game during the COVID pandemic as a way to focus my mind on something else,” he says, “Families can definitely enjoy this as an escape from the other pressing concerns of everyday life.”
