The Center for Collaborative Leadership At UMass Boston Welcomes Four New Board Members

Candace Cramer, Christina DeGroote, Jennifer Putzbach, and John Sullivan will form part of the center’s Board of Advisors.

Boston, MA (PRUnderground) November 20th, 2018

The Center for Collaborative Leadership is honored to welcome four new members to it’s Board of Advisors. Each new individual is an accomplished and exemplary leader in their own organization, and dedicated member of their community. All four members will bring their unique professional and personal experiences to facilitate the development of the center’s programs, and further the center’s mission and purpose.

“I believe strongly in the mission of the Center for Collaborative Leadership and have experienced first-hand how effective the Center’s methods truly are. I am grateful for the privilege to serve this organization alongside such inspirational leaders.” Said Jennifer Putzbach, a 2011 Emerging Leaders Program alum and former chair of the Alumni Board.

Jennifer Putzbach has been active in the Media industry for 30 years, where effective collaboration has been her key to finding the way forward. Jennifer is the Finance Director for The Boston Globe.

“I’ve been impressed by how the ELP has impacted their lives and enhanced their ability and desire to be collaborative leaders… I am honored to have the opportunity to assist the Center in advancing its role in convening future leaders and immersing them in a collaborative leadership model.” Said Candace Cramer in a statement.

Candace has over 18 years of experience as a nonprofit executive, she brings her expertise in board development, community relations, and strategic planning. Candace is the Chief Executive Officer of Sophia Snow Place, a senior living community in West Roxbury.

John Sullivan is the Director of Government Affairs of Neighborhood Health Plan and 2011 the Emerging Leaders Program alum. Before Neighborhood Health Plan, John worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts within the Public, Government and Regulatory Affairs division for almost 15 years. John is a graduate of Providence College and Suffolk University Law School, a member of the Massachusetts Bar.

Christina DeGroote is Executive Vice, Strategy & Planning of Suffolk Construction. DeGroote has more than thirteen years’ experience in corporate financial planning and analysis, reporting, and institutional equity. Prior to Suffolk Construction, DeGroote spent nine years at Clark Realty Capital, DeGroote was the founder and executive director of the Clark CARES Foundation, a public charity that raised more than $1 million through various fundraising activities.
