The coronavirus crisis has impacted the entire nation. That said there’s no doubt at all some communities have been impacted worse than others. Chief among these is seniors, who have been put most in danger from the virus and most had the need to socially distance. The good news is new resources are being made available to less this burden and help seniors connect socially in safe ways online, using systems designed to help them mentally and improve their mood. Enter The Daily Social Club. The Daily Social Club is a series of webinars covering a wide range of areas for seniors, held Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM EST. The Daily Social Club has announced it will come out of beta on May 11th and officially launch. Until then the webinar program is free.

“From company: Our senior population has been devastated by the Coronavirus and COVID-19, not only physically but mentally and emotionally,” commented a spokesperson from the company. “The isolation and lack of cognitive stimulation has further reduced their quality of life. The Daily Social Club seeks to open a bright spot in our seniors lives by bringing a community of friends and fun to their homes.”

According to The Daily Social Club, webinar participants are guided through discussion groups, musical mini-concerts, and cognitive exercises including word games, game shows, and trivia exercises, senior workouts, and more, each day. Participants are given many opportunities to interact with the hosts and with each other, in a fun and entertaining way, during each session of The Daily Social Club. Seniors with memory issues are encouraged to join, with some of the focus being on helping them participate, which can be a great plus in their health and self-esteem.

The early feedback for the webinars for seniors has been very positive across the board in beta. This is expected to continue, if not even grow, when The Daily Social Club celebrates its full launch.

Michelle S., from New Jersey, recently said in a five-star review, “This whole coronavirus period has been very hard on my mother. While we took her out of the Senior Citizen’s Home she was staying in for safety reasons, not being able to interact with her friends and staff has been diffcult. We are so happy to have discovered The Daily Social Club. She looks forward to it and it is obvious it has improved her feelings in a major way. Fully recommended.”
