The Digital Learning Collaborative Announces on New Membership Options, Projects and Events

Industry: Education

The DLC now serves a broader range of digital learning educators and stakeholder

Durango, CO (PRUnderground) September 22nd, 2020

The Digital Learning Collaborative (DLC) launched less than two years ago, in response to the need for an organization to share information and best practices about a wide range of K-12 online, blended, and hybrid learning topics. Building on the work and early successes of its founding members, including the creation and rapid growth of the Digital Learning Annual Conference, annual reports, and studies on eLearning Days and other topics, the DLC is excited to announce the next stage in its evolution. The DLC is expanding its project focus and membership options to provide more opportunities for individual educators, schools and districts, NGOs, agencies, and companies to benefit from the activities and content generated by this collaborative organization.

In addition to expanding its membership benefits and options to a broader range of educators and stakeholders, the Digital Learning Collaborative is:

  • Offering professional development for teachers who are shifting to remote learning. There will also be a seminar series for school leaders.

  • Moving ahead with planning for the 2021 Digital Learning Annual Conference (DLAC), and increasing the connections between DLAC and the DLC. DLAC is constantly assessing the COVID-19 situation as it evaluates whether DLAC will be fully onsite in June, fully virtual, or a hybrid.

  • Creating a fall webinar series to address the real needs of educators and policymakers, in the current school year and beyond.

  • Putting the finishing touches on the Resilient Schools Project with its partner, Future of School. The first cohort has just launched, but a few spots are still open. If your district is interested in taking part, please email us immediately.

Digital learning has never been more widespread, and it has never been more important that the field supports best policies and practices. The DLC is excited to announce these changes and to welcome new collaborators to the table.
