The UK Assassin Headlines “Clash In The Burg”

The self-proclaimed “Loudest Mouth in the West,” trash talking American Heavyweight Contender and social media darling Christopher “The U.K. Assassin“ Lovejoy (20-1), is now confirmed as the headliner of the inaugural episode of “Clash in the Burg” on July 6, 2023.  Clash in the Burg is a new boxing series being promoted by Lion Heart Boxing Productions in association with Harrisburg’s Travel Champs. Lovejoy’s opponent is the experienced Brazilian Heavyweight Marcelo Leandro Da Silva (22-5).

Christopher Lovejoy is one of the hottest names in the sport of Boxing today and has been a constant torn in the flesh of British heavyweights, incessantly calling them out, one after and another. Lovejoy recently featured on Floyd Mayweather’s February 2023 Royal Pain card in London.  He also is on tap to fight British Prospect Johnny Fisher (7-0) before the end of the year and has been linked to many upcoming high profile heavyweight fights, including a potential showdown with former heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder. The controversial Lovejoy is a confessed former “gangbanger”, has a sticky and very vocal fan base, and is one of a few boxers ever to walk away successfully from a Don King promotional contract, and without being sued.

Joining Christopher Lovejoy as the co-main is the 6’6″ Mexican Heavyweight Martin “Latin Sensation“ Paredes (6-0), who will be stepping up against another undefeated prospect. It will a heavyweight Clash In Burg for the ages when Paredes faces former football player and LSU National Champion Jarvis Jones (2-0). “Someone’s “O” must go” says event promoter Edward Mendy.

Rounding out the fight card are numerous local boxing favorites, including Angel Perez (7-0) of the famous Perez Brothers, his brother Montana Perez (2-0) as well as the giant Nate Bueno (Debut). With his debut, Bueno will automatically become the tallest active fighter, at 6’10”.

Clash In The Burg will be held on July 6, 2023, at the beautiful and historic Forum Auditorium in Harrisburg, PA. The venue is cozy and configured for 1,610 seats.  Thus, there is not a single bad seat in the house for Clash In The Burg.

Tickets are reasonable priced and start at $40 for General Admission (Level 300 and Standing); $60 for Reserved Seating (Level 200) and $100.00 for Ringside Seats (Level 100). Tickets may be purchased at www.Universe.com, the venue, at Hummelstown Print House and all Ticketmaster locations.

Doors open at 6:00 PM and the first fight starts at 7:00 PM.
