The beautiful Spa city of Bath has a wealth of attractions, some modern & many historic, known by visitors from around the world. Here is a brief guide to some of October's highlights.

The Spa city of Bath has a wealth of attractions, both historic and contemporary, which known by people the world over who visit the city annually. For many of the people who visit Bath, often it is to experience the occurring underground heated waters which run into both the ancient “Roman Baths” and the “Thermae Baths Spa”.

First up; the annual Cooler Jazz and Blues Festival, which starts on the 7th of October, which is a 10 day event in celebration of the music and artists from the world of Jazz and Blues. Another musical event is a special concert at Bath Abbey, featuring Jamie Cullum & Bath’s Silver Ring Choir on the 8Th of October.

Next up is the 2011 Bath Beer Festival on the 14th and 15th of October at the Bath Pavilion, which features around 80 Real Ales and almost 30 Traditional Ciders, with a mixed line up of live music for visitors of the event.

Another must-see event, is the “Marilyn: Hollywood Icon” exhibition which is running till the end of October at the American Museum in Britain in Bath. The exhibition features many of the dresses worn on screen by Marilyn, along with some of her personal items and other memorabilia.
