The Timothy S.Y. Lam Foundation (TSYLF) announces the 2019 Spirit of Hospitality award winners today. Those selected for these honors will be recognized in October at an awards celebration.
The Spirit of Hospitality Leadership Award recognizes those in the hospitality industry whose significant contributions and achievements have created the benchmark in leadership. Their dedication and passion are shining examples of the hospitality industry. The 2019 Spirit of Hospitality award winners are:
- Shannon McCallum, Vice President of Hotel Operations at Aria Resort & Casino and Vdara Hotel & Spa: Hospitality Leadership Award in Empowerment
- Diane Gandy, President, Nevada Hotel & Lodging Association: Hospitality Leadership Award in Collaboration
- Michael Severino, Senior Director of Marketing and Special Events at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits: Hospitality Leadership Award in Community Development

The Spirit of Hospitality Leadership awards will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas. All proceeds will go towards scholarships and grants for students and professionals in the hospitality community.
