Tipsy Tequila & Tacos, a fast-growing Greenville, SC-based Tex-Mex restaurant company with four locations throughout the Upstate of South Carolina is proud to announce the opening of its fifth location and first ever franchise store in Clemson, SC. 

Like the other Tipsy locations, the Clemson store offers guests a fun, laid back atmosphere with an extensive food menu that includes unique, freshly-made and tasty tacos, burritos, quesadillas and more. Tipsy’s newest location also features a bar offering over 60 different kinds of tequila along with mixed drinks and many Mexican and craft beers. 

“We’ve been awaiting the day when we finally get to introduce Tipsy Tequila & Tacos fresh and authentic Tex Mex cuisine to the Clemson community,” said Tipsy franchisee Paul Ryll. “We plan to make a big splash in Clemson by attracting a clientele of business professionals, Clemson University students and out-of-towners alike, and from there, we plan to help spread Tipsy’s unique concept to the entire Southeast.”

The company also announced a second franchise agreement with the owners of Greenville-based Tropical Grille, along with Tony’s Pizza & Subs owner Tony King. The new franchisees plan to renovate the 7,200-square-foot restaurant at 1133 Woodruff Road and to open mid-December.
