10-day trip will take Harry Potter fans to experience the places that inspired the books and movies, including filming locations

Travel Benefits By Design has announced an upcoming Ultimate Harry Potter Fan Trip that will take guests to experience firsthand some of the places that inspired the wildly popular books and movies.
Over the course of 10 days, guests will get to see the Hogwarts Express, filming locations, and the birthplace of Harry Potter. While the stories are set in a fantasy Britain, guests on the Ultimate Harry Potter Fan Trip will get to see the actual locations seen in the films.
The once in a lifetime trip will begin at London Heathrow airport, where guests will be shuttled to their hotel. The first day will be spent exploring London individually before everyone meets for a welcome dinner at the Grange City Hotel. On the second day, guests will tour Warner Bros. Studio to get a firsthand glimpse of the making of Harry Potter. Later in the day, guests will take a guide-led walking tour of filming locations, and they’ll have the opportunity to stop for photos at Westminister Station, Big Ben, Australia House, Claremont Square, and more.
Other features of the Ultimate Harry Potter Fan Trip include a cruise on the Thames River, a riverside walk at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, a visit to Harrow School (Flitwick’s Charms classroom), a tour of Professor Snape’s Potions classroom, a look at the Dark Arts classroom, and a stop at the historic Roman Baths.
On one of the days, guests will get to take a heritage steam train to Whitby. There, they’ll visit Whitby Abbey – the inspiration for the Dracula Story.
Other stops along the trip will include Loch Sheil (known as Black Lake near Hogwarts), the Harry Potter Waterfall, Edinburgh, and more.
The Ultimate Harry Potter Fan Trip will give guests the opportunity to see and experience some of the inspirations and features of the Harry Potter books and movies while enjoying a tour of historic Britain and more. The tour is scheduled for September 7, 2017, through September 17, 2017, and it is priced at $4369 per person. Adults over the age of 18 are permitted.
