Traverse Bay Farms Adds Photo of Detroit-Based Musician Mike Weir to Their Hollywood Wall

Traverse Bay Farms is widely known for its Hollywood Wall. With both retail stores locations have dozens of photos of Hollywood celebrities, pro athletes and musicians on their walls, the Elk Rapids store is nicknamed “Northern Michigan’s Hollywood Hub”

According to Andy LaPointe, Director of Marketing with Traverse Bay Farms, “Over the past few years we have been fortunate to have a number of Hollywood celebrities, pro-athletes, regional and national musicians stop in our stores.”

Mr. LaPointe continued, “We’ve had Joseph Firecrow, a Grammy award winning artist, members of the famous BlueMan group, players from the Detroit Lion and Chicago Bears stop in. They have been kind enough to allow us to take a photo of them and place it on the walls of our two gourmet food stores. We also have photos of actors from the Sopranos, The Kids are All Right and more.”

Andy continued, “We also have a number of musicians from the Detroit and Chicago music scene stop in, too. Both of our store are located in resort regions of Northern Michigan and many stop in while on vacation. We were fortunate enough to have Mike Weir stop a little while back. He is a gigging musician on the Detroit scene.”
