Traverse Bay Farms planning fulfillment center expansion

Traverse Bay Farms is planning on building an expansion at its Bellaire, Michigan fulfillment and distribution center. The company plans to construct a 5,000-square foot new building expansion.

According to Andy LaPointe, owner of Traverse Bay Farms, “This new expansion of our fulfillment and distribution center will allow us to continue to serve our customers. We offer both online and offline distribution from our Bellaire location. In addition to serving our internet customer, wholesaler and distribution customers, that location also houses a retail store. This means we’ll be able to serve all of our customers better.”

Mr. LaPointe continued, “Our current facility sits on 2.5 acres of property. We have the room to expand. Much of the property is current vacant so it is perfect for expansion. Over the past several months we reviewed a number of other locations, but decide Bellaire is our home. The reason is simple, we started our business in Bellaire, we have employees in Bellaire and most importantly, a number of customers have enjoyed our location since it is adjoining to Shanty Creek Resort properties.”
