Hyatt Hotels Installs Nexos Next-Wave Whole-Building and PoE Lighting Systems

Versa Technology, Inc, a US-based provider of last-mile IT networking technology and one of the largest suppliers of Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch technology products, and Igor smart buildings innovator and certified ecosystem partner, today announce the installation of Nexos, Igor’s universal end-to-end IoT platform at the luxury Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas located at 2100 N Coast Highway 101, Encinitas, CA 92024.
Nexos is a single platform that integrates and manages a variety of devices throughout the hotel including PoE lighting, heating, and cooling systems, door locks, occupancy sensors, window shades, security, and more. The Igor solution, supported by Versa Technology PoE networking equipment, melds both aesthetics and control. This has allowed the Alila Marea Resort designers an unlimited choice of stunning light fixtures—receiving power and data over a single Ethernet cable—with full local or centralized control access capability.
