Viscaya Releases New Single and Music Video "Cold"

Metalcore band Viscaya is back on the scene with a brand-new single “Cold” along with an energetic music video. Coming out of Miami Beach, Florida, Viscaya has become a well-known name in just a short period of time. After the huge success of their 2019 EP “There’s No Sin in Sincerity,” Viscaya kicks off a promising 2020 with “Cold.”
Viscaya consists of four members — Daniel (Dany) Restrepo as the lead vocalist, Lorenzo Tedesco on drums, Max Kruczek on guitar, and Joseph Trentacosta on bass and vocals. Ever since forming Viscaya, the bandmates have played shows across Florida and have opened for top acts such as Danny Worsnop, Betraying the Martyrs, Traitors, and more. Their debut EP “There’s No Sin in Sincerity” has spawned over 200,000 streams across all platforms and their music video for “Forever Wasn’t Enough” has received over 185,000 views.

“This song to me, personally, is about finding your spirituality,” says the group’s vocalist, Dany. “Finding whatever makes you happy or whatever makes you, you at the end of the day.”

Fourpiece metalcore band Viscaya is made up of four long-time friends — Daniel (Dany) Restrepo (vocals), Lorenzo Tedesco (drums), Max Kruczek (guitar), and Joseph Trentacosta (bass/vocals) — who came together in June 2018 to make music. The band has been together since 2018, but their track record over the past two years would seem to say otherwise. Having opened for some of the most popular metalcore/hardcore acts including Danny Worsnop, Viscaya has certainly risen quickly in this tough industry, having been praised by the likes of Sleeping With Sirens vocalist Kellin Quinn.
