V&K You’re Never There

V&K is the stage name of Veronika and Kornelia Martinakova, sisters from Slovakia. Both entered the world of music at an early age, performing at church choirs and other events around Slovakia.

V&K began to study music school at the age of 7 and 10. After they finished basic school of music they continued with studying opera singing, acting and dancing at Conservatoire in Slovakia.

Their dream has always been to sing popular music. After completing studies at Conservatoire, they decided to come to London and both graduated in 2015 from the University of West London / BIMM London, studying commercial singing and performance as well as jazz, blues and rock styles. V&K performed at venues such as The Half Moon and Troubadour.

V&K write their own material and have had lots of experience in various recording studios in London. They have so far released 4 songs “The Guy”, “Slow Down”, “Music” and their new release which is an up-tempo song called “You’re Never There” all available on all social platforms.
